Local Saskatoon businesses and organizations are invited to host BTWD Commuter Stations – places for commuters to stop for grab-and-go refreshments, information, and a little fun on their way to work.
Participating businesses and organizations are required to designate one individual to act as a Station Manager. Station Managers will be the main point of contact and liaison between the hosting business/organization and the BTWD Organizing Committee, ensuring the station is prepared for the event. Station Managers are also required to designate one individual to collect BTWD data – issue surveys and tally commuter stops. You can request a Station Helper to assist with collection, if necessary.

Commuter Station Offerings
Station Managers are required to organize a grab-and-go breakfast for BTWD participants, which could take many forms – anything from a granola bar and a coffee, to a breakfast burrito and juice are sure to put a smile on any cyclist’s face.
IMPORTANT: No items can be sold at the Commuter Stations.
Get Creative!
Consider using your Commuter Station as an opportunity to help support/promote neighboring businesses, partnering with them to supply coffee and/or breakfast goods.
Make your station unique and fun with things like a raffle prize, tables and seating for participants, games, music, balloons, etc.
Promotions
The Bike To Work Day Organizing Committee will organize all promotional material and advertising. This will include BTWD posters, bike handle-bar tags, and a station sign for placement at the location several weeks before the event. In addition, sponsors and partners will have their logos included on the website, with links to their own sites.
Sponsorship
Station Managers are welcome to seek sponsorship to assist with the expenses of their stations. The BTWD Organizing Committee is happy to list all additional sponsors, if notified in a timely manner.
